‘All Quilts Bright and Beautiful’, is the them for the annual Quilt Exhibition presented by Toowoomba Quilters Club Inc to be held at the St Ursula’s College Salo Centre in Rome St, Toowoomba, from Saturday 22nd to Friday 28th Sept.
Doors open Sat-Thurs 9am-4.30pm and Fri 9am-2.30pm. Along with 150 quilts in traditional, modern and art styles, entries in the Clubs’ Apron Challenge and small items will be on display, with a members’ Sales table, demonstrations, Traders stands, light refreshments, and more.

In its second year during 2018 Carnival of Flowers in Toowoomba, a ‘Quilts, Stitches and Textiles Trail’ will offer five different community events at five different venues, at various times, to offer Carnival of Flowers visitors reason to stay a little longer. So if you have an interest in hand-crafts, patchwork, quilting, embroidery, stitchery, hand-made textiles & wool or the magnificent work of artisans in their crafts drop in to any or all the venues on the Quilts, Stitches and Textiles Trail to see what Toowoomba has to offer.
