Collingwood Close In On Talented Duo

Collingwood are closing in on academy player Isaac Quaynor and father-son prospect Will Kelly after completing a pick swap with Geelong.

The Cats have traded draft picks 59 and 60 to the Magpies in exchange for pick 51, strengthening Collingwood’s ability to match any bid for Quaynor and Kelly, the son of 1990 premiership player Craig Kelly and brother of Adelaide defender Jake Kelly.

As it stands, the Magpies head to next month’s draft with picks  41, 44, 57, 59, 60 and 93.

The Cats have picks 12, 50, 51, 70 and 87.
