Matty Johns has said he has "no doubt" Luke Brooks will re-sign with the Tigers amid rumours he could be heading to the Roosters.
Brooks, who was named Best Halfback at the 2018 Dally M Awards, is off-contract at the end of next season but is reportedly holding off on putting pen to paper until he has a sit-down meeting with incoming coach Michael Maguire.
But Matty told The Grill Team that there's one reason he doesn't think Brooks will be going anywhere, despite talk that he's being eyed as Cooper Cronk's replacement at the Roosters.
Matty also addressed the coaching dramas that continue to plague Manly; while Des Hasler has signed on as head coach, Trent Barrett is technically still the head coach as the club refuse to release him from his contract.
