Early Burst Of Summer To Hit Hunter

It's set to get warm across the Hunter as we head into November.

Temps across the coastal fringes can expect the mercury to hover around the 30s most days, however temps are forecast to reach 37 degrees in places like Cessnock, Maitland and Singleton by Friday.

It'll be closer to 34 degrees in Newcastle on Friday.

Graham Britain from Weatherzone says it's certainly out of the ordinary for this time of year.

"A top of 37 for November is quite high. It's definitely well above average."

"It could be the warmest temperatures for November we've seen for two years if the temperatures are realised."
